Sessions and Payment

We are open from 7.45am until 5:30. We operate in a flexible way to meet your needs.

Sessions include:

Children can attend any combination of these sessions to meet your needs but we do recommend two sessions per week to ensure that children benefit from our provision.

Universal Funding entitles every 3 year old (the term after their 3rd birthday) to 15 hours free nursery education each week.

Entitlement to Extended Hours is available if parents/ carers satisfy certain criteria (see:- www.childcarechoices.gov.uk )

There is also funds available for funding of 2 year old children however certain criteria apply.

Payment of fees policy

Broughton Pre School were one of the first four settings in Lancashire to achieve the Lancashire Quality Award. This demonstrates our exceptionally high standard of provision, care and education.

We were pleased to be awarded the Learning Excellence Good Practice Award in January 2014 for our study ‘How the role of the practitioner can raise the level of achievement for boys’ in the early years’. The Learning Excellence Award is about sharing good practice between educational establishments.
